About Drift Division
After years of chasing waves across Namibia, South Africa, Australia and Bali, immersed in the world of surfers who live for the search, I wanted to build something different — something that gives surfers a real chance to experience Namibia the way it deserves to be experienced.
Donkey Bay might be what draws people’s attention. But Namibia’s coastline is much more than one wave.
Hundreds of kilometres of raw desert meet the Atlantic, with shifting sandbars, unpredictable swell windows, and setups that few — or maybe no one — have ever surfed.
Drift Division isn’t a charter. It isn’t a surf camp. It’s a mission into one of the last open frontiers for surf exploration.
You can’t time it perfectly. You can’t guarantee it. But you can position yourself in the right place — far off-grid, inside the restricted zones, with the time, access, and crew to move.
Drift Division is about keeping the search alive.
